Having a slightly lower gear in the rear will allow the front to pull farther in relation and aids greatly in directional stability. Ford trucks used 4.11 rear and 4.10 fronts for years. I think some Dodge trucks use corporate 3.55's in the rear and Dana 3.54'... Login to read more. ![]()
