I believe (going strictly by memory here, could be wrong) that the lockup feeds off the direct clutch circuit, which is of course also engaged for reverse. Does shift 1-2-3-3LU or 1-2-3L? The solenoid could be leaking, there could be a bad seal ring or VB gask... Login to read more.
