Donald the 3-4 qts will keep you out of trouble except for the GM 440. This is the one used in the larger GM FWD cars it has a vacuum modulator. Sometimes 4qts will make it look full even after a warm up and cycling it through the gears a couple of times. Then... Login to read more.
