Hi Frank, I've found the easiest way to deal with the detent ball is to remove the cotter pin and internal linkage from the "rooster comb". This will allow you to roll the the rooster comb right off the detent ball/plunger, then remove linkage nuts. After repl... Login to read more. ![]()
