We've used Lubegard shudder fix for years with good results. Not perfect, just good. Modern GM transmissions we don't use it in, they get Mobil 1 LV HP fluid instead. We've had luck sometimes with their Platinum additive when seeking to free up sticking valves... Login to read more.
