A failed lockup wouldn't cause a 4th and 5th gear flare up over the 7k RPM, would it?

That is what I've got. It never finds 4,5 gears and throws solenoid performance codes.

I know a lot of guys drive without lockup, and this never happens...so probably not... Login to read more.
