Joe, I have only rebuilt two 4T65E's, but both had badly worn valve bodies. Both had bad boost sleeve assembly. Sonnax makes a repair kit for this(Part No. 84754-30K) No this probably won't give you the hard shift, more of a slip shift but don't over look this... Login to read more.
