The TPS certainly can be an issue. On my older RV with the 4R100's older sister, the E4OD, I have tweaked the TPS to the maximum voltage the PCM will tolerate. @ 0.9V closed I believe it was. This makes the transmission hold higher gears on hills a bit longer ... Login to read more.
