Converter comes apart and plugs filter. Clean real well. Check bushings, especially stator. VB / Solenoids will be full of metal. I've heard gen 2 VBS. Are not too expensive. The last one I did I took the Solenoids apart and cleaned them. Hasn't been out long ... Login to read more.
