I am thinking you are working on a 2007 CTS. It probably has the LY7 3.6L coupled to a 5L transmission. There is nothing fancy to getting it out and really no shortcuts. And they are tight. You have to remove the thermostat housing to get to the top bolts. And... Login to read more.
