Lewis , yes a cvt need to be reprogramed .had that issue with a factory cvt that was replaced by a trans shop , was not reprogramed , lasted 8000 miles .[ nissan ] luckily the dealer did warranty it .i always thought it did not act right .now trans 3 work fine... Login to read more.
