Actually, if you manually upshift, yes, there may be some overlap. If you keep it in 2nd then the low roller will overrun going into 2nd- no overlap. If you are talking about a driveway, I do recommend low range AND hold trans in Man1. No shift- RPM stays up ... Login to read more.
