Hi Bruce, When I Build Heavy Duty Use Transmissions I use Alto Red Eagle Frictions & Put 8 or 9 frictions in the 3-4 Drum on the 4L60-E & the Ford 4R100, I like the 8 better, use thicker kolene steels, This creates more surface area for gripping & no Slipping.... Login to read more.
