Wayne it sounds like the issue with the smoked 3rd clutches is obviously low pressure. Get rid of that cast iron drum and put it the stamped steel. Make sure the R&R guy uses a pressure gauge while "adjusting" the throttle pressure. Just putting the rod on... Login to read more.
