I have a lot of luck on auto trans subarus with "re-burnishing" the awd clutches. Change fluid thoroughly with Subaru ATF hp (which has a friction modifier build in), or use dex 3 with a little bottle of posi additive. Put the car up on the lift til the wheels... Login to read more.
