2000 vw jetta shifting issue

Hello

I am new here.

the car has to get to 4000 rpm to shift to second gear and on the highway seems that it does not shift to 3 or 4 gear at all no matter what rpm we get up to.

I get up to 65 miles and rpm goes to around 5000 and does not shift at all.... Login to read more.
