I had this on one of our tow trucks, 97 F-350 7.3. It is the E4OD, which I believe is very similar. When I researched it(on IATN) at the time, I understood that it has something to do with in reverse it uses hydraulic pressure to hold the converter unlocked, b... Login to read more.
