Read the data, is 1st commanded? What is gov pressure @ stop? I have seen 3rd gear starts because the computer saw 38 mph @ stop, so 3rd is normal. Also, codes don't happen unless something goes out of range; 38 isn't out of range so it was normal to start in ... Login to read more.
