Re: trans temp, what is too high?
I've seen 250 F as the max for regular trans fluid, 300 F for synthetic. Anything more and it turns from a lubricant to an abrasive and eats the trans for lunch. Also, much over that and the plastic parts start to melt. So no, I don't 220 is too high, consider... Login to read more. ![]()
