you must be talking about the 4t40e. near the differential is a 7/16 head plug. get the trans to operating temp (sorry, don't remember exact temp range). use your scan tool to make sure it's over 90f or so. then undo the plug. if fluid comes quickly, it is ove... Login to read more.
