TCC slip is monitored by the pcm but the slip would be signifigant before it flags it on an 01. 20 rpm slip is the limit . The 4r100 convertor is the weak link in that unit, I've had plenty of bad convertors with no p0741, in fact I can't remember ever seeing ... Login to read more.
