1997 Jeep 2WD pan debris pictures - normal?

Greetings all,

In the process of doing a 60K on a Grand Cherokee Laredo 2WD, I found some brass (non-ferrous) debris in the rear portion of the trans pan. I noted it on the RO for the customer's sake, as it has an extended warranty.

Is this normal?
