A friend has a 2001 Dodge Ram 5.9 2wd with a 5 speed manual trans. His complaint is noise in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears on decell. He says the noise goes away in 4th and 5th and also is not there (or not as bad) when accelerating or at cruise.
