Re: Broken pump
The oil pump is driven by a 3/8"(ish) hex shaft about 14" long which in turn is driven by the impeller side of the torque converter. The hex drive inside the torque converter had failed, so all this car needed was a new torque converter. It seems this is (was)... Login to read more. ![]()
