5hp24 hard downshift
I decided after that last problem on the 5hp19 I had that I hadn't taken enough of a beating yet, so I decided to rebuild a 5hp24. Came in w/ slippage in fwd gears. Found the typical a clutch drum blown apart at the snapring groove. Replaced that and overhaule... Login to read more.
