There are two TSBs for this problem. 03-07-30-02D P/N 24230632 Pressure control solonoid and 02-07-30-030A Jumper wire on alternator I installed the wire first on my 2003 Silverado with 5.3 and it seemed to help. The valve fixed it. Don't ask me how a 2nd gear... Login to read more.
