Rule of thumb here. If it is a highway vehicle for the most part, mount the tranny cooler 1/2 to 1 inch in front of the radiator. Any vehicle, like a snowplow that sees lots of slow moving use, city traffic, etc, mount the tranny cooler flush with the radiator... Login to read more.
