Hi Donald, I would recommend draining the trans and refilling with the GM syncromesh fluid. It's expensive but 80-90 is two thick for the lube passages in the shafts. If you continue to drive it with 80-90 it's going to fail due to lack of lube. The thick gear... Login to read more.
