Hello Tom, the EGT tranny you were offered are used on '00-'01 Golf/Jetta FWD vehicles. The DXW transmission only goes with '98-99 Audi A3 quattro & '99-'01 Audi TT quattro. The gear ratios are different,72/17 for EGT and 63/15 for DXW. Hope this helps. Sincer... Login to read more.
