FWIW, if it went into fail-safe, the tcu should have a code, but the ECU should have seen the mode,turn on the CEL and store a code also. Are they flashing codes jumping the aldl? Or do they have a scanner that actually reads codes and data? I'm pretty sure th... Login to read more.
