SS1 should be on/off/off/on and SS2 off/off/on/on for 1-2-3-4. Both are in the 20-30 Ohm range. Power to both is pin 4 at the trans while SS1 is ground controlled a pin 7 and SS2 is pin 8. I would confirm what is really happening and take it from there. Login to read more.
