Just had a purge valve fix the same intermittent fault code & trim data on a 2010 Mercedes E350. The P0171 revealed only AFTER we replaced a front 02 sensor, for a faulty heater circuit. A clue, in retrospect, was the MAF flow at hot idle was aprox .2 g/s lowe... Login to read more.
