Hi Craig,

Try disconnecting the DPFE sensor and see if that changes anything. A shorted sensor will cause the PCM to shut down.

BTW, is the DPFE on this truck metal or plastic? Ford has changed to a plastic DPFE on some of the newer models and I've already... Login to read more.
