I'm not sure but our Snap on and Launch Maximus call it KAM(Keep Alive Memory) reset. Not sure if it is the same but I am assuming it is. This is supposed to reset all learned adaptives, like fuel trim, etc, back to factory like disconnecting the battery. Login to read more.
