Wow, thanks for sharing. That really is a strange one but I guess just proves once more that all Ford driveabilty problems lead back to the coils eventually right? :P Kind of reminds me of the issue the 3.0L DOHC V-6 had with that except those would kill the drivers in the pcm typically, which would then provide helpful coil primary circuit codes. Just out of curiosity, did you happen to catch what the baro reading was when the MAF would freak out? Just wonder if the pcm would see the high reading and make an erroneous calculation that would cause further chaos. In any case, way to kick that one in the tail!
