I installed a brand new, (maybe reman) 5.4 engine from ford dealer a couple of years ago and it vibrated like a paint shaker. Sticker on engine said (DONT ADD OIL) so I didnt. Turns out it had about 15 quarts of oil in it and I DID NOT add any oil. Login to read more.
