Hello Paul,

Maybe a picture and a video would be better with less of my rambling =)

test condition: coils unplugged, air inlet boot blocked, pcv breather from air inlet blocked.

NOTE; PCV valve not blocked , will let vacuum bleed into crankcase/lower rea... Login to read more.
