I use a variant of that method, but mine is a bit more brutal.... 5/8" course thread tap driven by a 1/2" drive impact, and blast it out. Takes all of 1 second, and works nearly every time. In the event it doesn't work, it just tears up the bronze bushing, and... Login to read more.
