That reminds me of the bad old days of Vac controlled EGR on Subaru and some fords. The filter on the EGR solenoid that vented the vacuum would plug up and with no vent for the vacuum EGR would stay on. Yep a hair puller back them and it is still haunting us. Login to read more.
