After breaking a bunch on my first engine, I never broke any again. I crack the plug loose about a 1/16 of a turn, then tighten it up slightly. The idea is to get the pressure off of the threads. Then spray Motorcraft Tune Up Cleaner into the well. Let it soak... Login to read more.
