I have personally had good luck with a 3/8 impact. I averaged 3 broken plugs a job using Fords procedure. Now after 3 jobs I've had 1 plug in 24 break. I warm the engine but not hot. and I don't use full power on the gun but once it moves I don't let it stop. ... Login to read more.
