For stab links in the rust belt (even though they don't really rust alot) I take a worn out pair of vice grips and clamp it as tight as I can on the boot area. Spin it with the impact. Reclamp, Spin it, Reclamp. Repeat until off. Works pretty much every time. ... Login to read more.
