You are right, I was looking at a self-test mode diagram for a 2002 Escape 4 cyl. when the vent solenoid is closed. On this vehicle you could easily seal the tank for vehicle storage by pulling the vent solenoid hose off the cannister at the front of the engin... Login to read more.
