I went to our local bolt shop and took one of the bolts to a subframe that I removed. I bought threaded rod in the same size and pitch. Because it was a metric pitch, the rod came by the meter. I then cut it in 4 equal pieces. so each piece is about 11 inches ... Login to read more.
