I'd agree, George. At my first shop, we had a test bench that dated to the 1930's/1940's and still functioned well. I never had the opportunity to do this specifically (hindsight's 20/20 ;') ), but if it was a PCM monitored (not controlled) alternator, ... Login to read more. ![]()
