I had a 03 6.0 killing the 5 volt line. turned out there was a short on the 5 volt line at the map sensor on top of the hood cowl. (THIS IS ONLY ON VANS) don't know if there wired the same I know yours is a 7.3 but it might be, but the loom goes across the cow... Login to read more.
