Re: One cure for poorly designed headlights
Those "thimbles", as you call them, are there to cut off the top of the low beam pattern to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. Do a Google Image search for "headlight beam pattern". You will see the top of the pattern is cut off to the left of center and slopes ... Login to read more. ![]()
