Since the Fords are bad about misfires but lacking at setting codes I use the mode 6 data. It is usually spot-on accurate if the ignition system is the issue. I have not had a chance to use my IDS on misfire analysis yet so I could use feedback also!!!! Tech2 ... Login to read more.
