John-- Hose clamps are new to me, I'll have to try it. When I can get a vice-grip in there to grip the open inner CV joint (boot wrecked by a do-it-yourselfer), I screw the end of my slide hammer adapter into it. Used several times and hasn't pulled the thread... Login to read more.
