I use a 4 foot long piece of clear, 5/8 inch ID tube to do this (from the local ACE hardware bulk hose rack). I made sure to burn one end of it on the exhaust so I know the other end goes to my ear (keeps from accidently putting the greasy end to my ear... Login to read more.
